I'm going to try and keep the review spoiler free as best as possible, but there are a few points that'll spoil some "cameos." Mortal Kombat X follows in the footsteps of MK9. Once again Netherrealm studios shows that a fighting game can have an interesting story to go along with just the matches. The story mode itself took me 3-4 hours to play through once. Some parts of the stry are a little cheesy but nothing too terrible overall. I do feel the MK9 story line was a bit longer and MKX left a lot of questions unanswered.

If you liked the MK9 fighting style this one is not that much different. The most noticeable difference is the addition of the three fighting styles which will allow for some more customization to the player's playing style. Cool addition in my view. I still haven't played tower battles yet but that is coming soon. Characters have 3 fatalities and I believe 6 brutalities each, additionally there are faction kills which are specific fatalities to each faction. I believe there are five of these in total. While not as fancy as the individual characters fatalities they are really easy to pull off. I can only speak for the Lin Kuei faction kills at this point. They are just ok but an unexpected addition.

There was a time when I was heavily into shooter games. I sunk hours and hours into Halo 2 & 3, then did the same with the first few Modern Warfare/Black Ops titles. After a while though, I got totally burnt out with these style of games. Not to mention I was tired of the ultra competitive jerks that inhabited the online lobbies. I probably haven't bought a Call of Duty or Halo game in the last 5 years.

As with all of Nintendo's amiibo figures, these Splatoon ones are top notch with great attention to detail. I love the squid's eyes, the 'splatter' bases on each one, and the ink tanks on the back of the Inkling Boy/Girl. Fantastic designs. This three pack is also a slightly better deal per amiibo than usual, at $11.66 each rather than $12.99 each (if you get them at their $34.99 MSRP).

But what do they actually do?

In Splatoon, each of the three Inkling amiibo unlocks 20 challenges. These challenges are from the single-player story missions, and are different depending on which amiibo you use:

Inkling Boy:
His challenges are story missions where you are required to use a roller weapon rather than the standard splatter shot (a close range paint roller rather than normal assault rifle-like ink gun). These are probably the hardest of the three simply because certain parts of missions are difficult to do without a longer range weapon.

Inkling Girl:
His challenges are similar to Inkling Boy's where you do story missions, but using a long-range sniper-type of ink gun rather than the normal splatter shot medium-range ink gun. These are kind of fun since the normal story mode restricts you to one weapon, and the sniper can make certain parts of missions more interesting.

Inkling Squid:
The squid's challenges are definitely the most fun, in my opinion. They add a very welcome spin on the story missions, where you actually have a time limit to complete them. Instead of switching your weapons like the other two amiibo do, the squid will give you the Kraken powerup, which makes your ink swimming faster and more powerful.

This is a great game. Graphics, and sound are hands down amazing. Alot of these bad d reviews are people that want more of an arcade style race game. This game takes some getting use to, if you go off track or slam the gas after a turn your gonna pay, if you ram and drive aggresive your not gonna make it. You can adjust just about aznything in from graphics to on screen display. I had to lower the AI difficulty at first. after playing for 3 hrs im really enjoying this game. The really nice thing is everything is unlocked from the get go! So there is no grinding required, and that is very nice for us that have to work or have kids, just jump on and race. I see alot of these reviews complain about no rewards, like unlockable cars........... the rewards is winning! I have played a few online races and they also run very smooth, can get a bit messy when the hist has it set to any car, so u have an F car next to a kart, lol, start line can get a bit messy. But the online community feels true so far, what I mean by that is, not alot of rammers, everyone is racing good and fair. The reason i gave it 4stars is due to so of the background sceens/crouds/fields could have looked a bit better, they still look great but, crouds are mostly still pics, and the grass is minimal strands here and there. All in all this is a must have for a true racing fan that loves hitting the track with legit racers or solo. Again this is not an arcade style racer so dont expect to jump over the patch of grass ti take the lead. Again dont listen to some of these bad reviews, if you notice most of them are requesting an arcade racer or a wish list for a game. Review the game as it is! Overall, I enjoyed this game in the 4 hours I played it. However, there are a fair amount of glitches in the game and I felt as though they could have released it a couple weeks later if it could take out the glitches. Lastly, I thought I was going to get 3 pre order cars with the game, but I didn't get any. I would probably recommend this game to good racers that know their car facts, as all the tire pressure and brake tightness and all that is a little much for me. But, it is still a great racing game.

Ferra/Torr The dual being known as Ferra/Torr is mysterious even to their closest allies. It's rumored that Torr and Ferra were Outworld citizens, captured and permanently tethered to each other by the evil sorcerer Shang Tsung in the bowels of his Flesh Pits. They're more likely members of a forgotten symbiotic race, in which the 'rider' bonds with a 'mount.' The rider, Ferra, serves as the de facto brains of the duo, while the hulking Torr is the muscle. It's possible they communicate with each other telepathically, or that Ferra can actually understand Torr’s booming grunts. Found roaming the Tarkatan Wastes by Kotal Kahn’s troops, Ferra/Torr were pressed into service as the emperor’s personal bodyguards.

D'Vorah Is of a race called the Kytinn, which populates the island realm of Arnyek. The solitary nature of the Kytinn meant a common defense of their realm was impossible; thus it was conquered and merged with Outworld by Shao Kahn. D'Vorah's loyalty and insightfulness, unusual traits for a Kytinn, led to her quick political rise.

I will keep this review short and sweet. This review will be more about the technical stuff rather than the game story, and most of you PC buyers are concerned about this matter anyway. This game is just simply amazing with eye catching graphics(lighting, grasses, lots of grasses and sharp textures), good driven story, nice music, and unique gameplay mechanics.

The game runs like butter, don't listen to some of the guys who are saying "bad pc port" in their reviews. It's quite the opposite and this is evident when you at the game's performance. Anybody remember Watchdogs, AC Unity and GTA 4 releases? Those were "bad pc port" and The Witcher 3 runs nothing like those games. Poor pc ports have a pretty low user rating in metacritic. Witcher 3 currently has a 8.8 user rating in metacritic while a poor port like AC Unity have a 2.6 rating. I share this fact to make clear of how good of a port Witcher 3 is.
